Hey everyone,

Who else gets frustrated when you're boiling pasta, rice, or even milk, and it suddenly boils over, making a big mess on your stove? It used to happen to me constantly, leading to extra cleanup I didn't want.

I discovered a fantastic and incredibly simple hack to prevent this, and it actually works wonders! All you need is a wooden spoon.

When your pot is boiling, simply place a wooden spoon across the top of the pot. The spoon will break the surface tension of the rising bubbles as they reach the top, causing them to collapse before they can overflow.

It's a tiny trick that saves so much hassle and keeps your stovetop clean. I use it every time I boil anything, and it's been a game-changer for me in the kitchen.

Give it a try the next time you're cooking! Do you have any other easy kitchen hacks that save you time or effort? Share them with us!
